Gen AI Fundamentals : Building Blocks

Generative AI is one of the most exciting technologies of our time and is set to transform various industries by making interactions more engaging and seamless. Generative AI is based on four building blocks: Input, Preprocessing, Models, and training of Models to derive information. The visual presentation below is for easy understanding. 



Input (Text, Images, Audio, Video) works as data points that can be preprocessed in such a way that meaningful and clean data is being passed to the model for the training. Various methods for data preprocessing include tokenization, normalization, and augmentation, especially for the visual/audible contents. 

Companies like OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc. are creating the best of models which built on massive amounts of data and provide a seamless experience of the new era.
